OzLeisure.com.au March newsletter
Continuing 2008 OzLeisure year of the podcast: Beginners guide podcast series is launched
You already know by now that we have declared 2008 to be OzLeisure year of the podcast, and to that end we are launching more podcast series than ever before.
March marks the launch of our first video podcast series - Beginners Guide - which is a series of technology tutorial videos aimed at novices and beginners ... hence the title.
The first section in the series covers Microsoft's latest operating system; Microsoft Windows Vista. In the series we will take you through how to understand what you see when Windows Vista is installed, and right the way through to managing your e-mail, photos, videos, audio and other files.
Covering more advanced topics such as security and the Internet, the series guides you through all of your first steps with the operating system.
Following on from the Windows Vista series, we will be moving on to other products such as Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) as well as other types of software such as Instant messaging and internet telephony.
There is no limit to the subjects that can be covered, and we would welcome suggestions from our subscribers as to what you would like us to cover. Please e-mail your suggestions to us at beginnersguide@ozleisure.com.au as we will do our very best to cover the topics you want.
