Artists have an opportunity to win $10,000 in awards as part of the Noosa Gallery Society’s fourth annual awards exhibition. The exhibition is to be held at the Noosa Regional Gallery in November this year. Artist entries of original paintings and sculpture will be accepted until 4pm, 29 September.

The main prize of $3,500 is reserved for the ‘Best of Exhibition’ award, sponsored by community developer, Petrac. $2,000 will be awarded for the Oil, Acrylic and Mixed Media section and $2,000 for the category of Watercolour. Sculpture receives an Acquisitive Award of $1,000, courtesy of Wide Bay Australia, and a Society Award of $1,000. The winner of the People’s Choice award receives $500, sponsored by Pack & Send.

All works will be for sale. The official opening of the exhibition will be held 6pm, 3 November 2006.
