Chadstone The Fashion Capital opened in 1960 and was the first freestanding regional shopping centre in Melbourne. Chadstone houses just under 400 stores including Myer, David Jones, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Borders Books Music Cafe, AMF Bowl, Coles, Bi-Lo, Kmart and Toy's 'R' Us. The centre has many international designers including A/X Armani Exchange, Max & Co., Mecca Cosmetica and Polo Ralph Lauren sitting alongside local labels like Alannah Hill, Anthea Crawford, Carla Zampatti and Saba. Famous brand names like Sass and Bide, Collette Dinnigan and Princess Highway can be found exclusively at David Jones and Aero, Bracewell, Brave and Bettina Liano are exclusive labels found at Myer.

Chadstone also offers entertainment for the whole family. Located on the lower level of the Centre is a precinct designed entirely for fun. There you will find a 16 cinema Hoyts Megaplex, the AMF Bowl, Borders Books Music and Cafe, plus other great cafes, bars and funky clothing stores.

Chadstone is equally famed for its award winning architecture, luxurious fixtures, prized sculpture collections, relaxed environment and spacious Galleria which makes it a wonderful place to browse, shop, relax and enjoy a coffee or a casual meal. Two international food courts provide a wide range of cuisine from sushi to kebabs.
